The Office of Civil Rights Mission is to deter and investigate harassment and discrimination based on protected categories. We carry out this mission through proactive training on discrimination, harassment, and cultural sensitivity as well as fair, impartial and timely investigation, and response to both internal and external complaints of illegal discrimination. The Office of Civil Rights Compliance strives to ensure that all members of the Miami-Dade County Public School System value and respect each others' contributions and opinions without regard to gender, race, social or ethnic background, or any of the protected categories. |
